WHAT HAPPENED?
With United already 2-0 up at Goodison Park thanks to a stunning overhead kick from Alejandro Garnacho and a penalty from Marcus Rashford, Martial added extra gloss to the final scoreline with a sublime dinked finish in the 75th minute. He raced onto a clever Bruno Fernandes pass before producing a delicate chip to beat Jordan Pickford in the Everton net.

Martial has taken 11 games to get up and running in the Premier League this season, with his only other goal coming in a Carabao Cup third-round win against Crystal Palace. The Frenchman has struggled for form and fitness in a United shirt for some time, and is no longer guaranteed a place in Erik ten Hag's starting XI, but will hope that he can build on his latest performance with a strong run.
