WHAT HAPPENED?
Kane’s injury came just 33 minutes into Bayern Munich’s much-anticipated encounter with Borussia Dortmund. The 30-year-old appeared to be dealing with discomfort in his hamstring, sparking fears of a prolonged absence. However, Bayern manager Vincent Kompany alleviated immediate concerns by stating after the match that the issue was “not that bad.”

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Further medical assessments revealed a minor muscle tear in the back of Kane’s right thigh, a setback that could have sidelined him for a longer period. Fortunately for Bayern, the timeline for his recovery appears favourable and on Thursday morning, Kane took a significant step forward in his rehabilitation by running on the grass at the club's training ground. This marks notable progress just under a week after the initial injury diagnosis.
