WHAT HAPPENED?
Man Utd have splashed out £52 million($68m) to bring in Yoro from Lille, beating Real Madrid to the 18-year-old's signature. The teenager joins Joshua Zirkzee in making the move to Old Trafford as the Red Devils shake up their squad ahead of the start of the 2024-25 season. Captain Fernandes has been quick to welcome the club's latest signing to Old Trafford by posting a message on social media.

Yoro may not be the last arrival at United this summer. The Red Devils remain interested in defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Jarrad Branthwaite despite landing the Lille star. United are also keen to sign PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte and have already agreed personal terms.

United are currently in pre-season mode and preparing for a friendly against Rangers on Saturday. The Red Devils will then fly out to the United States for games against Arsenal, Real Betis and Liverpool before taking on Manchester City once more in the Community Shield.
